Shopping deal

Purchase all your presents in Varberg, where the shops are dotted around the square and where you’ll also find a nice hustle and bustle on Wednesdays and Saturdays amongst the market stalls and hawkers. The real shopping rush can be experienced in the town of Ullared at the massive “GeKås” store, which is only half an hour’s bus ride from Varberg. Once you’re all shopped out, you can indulge in a bit of cosy pampering at the hotel and a soak in the restorative 37 degree water of the Lenin Spa. In the soft twilight of our peaceful library, you can sit down with a good book or why not choose a film amongst the 200 titles we have on our shelves, before you finish your day with an evening buffet with traditional Swedish cuisine and take a moment to relax in one of our comfy armchairs.

At Hotel Gästis we also have a concept that “not everything should have a price”, so you can find a long list in the reception area detailing more or less practical items that our guests are very welcome to borrow without any additional charges. There’s everything from tennis rackets, braces and irons to board games or umbrellas and you can always grab a complimentary cup of coffee or piece of cake here too.
